Valentines Day

On Valentines Day we went to the Children's Museum with Randy, Katrina, Sabrina, and Cameron.

What's going on in my life right now?

Friday 2/13 - Kaitlyn had ear tubes put in. We had to wake her up at 5am to take her to the surgery center and she was so good for being tired and not able to eat/drink before the surgery, she played and laughed in the waiting room, the procedure only lasted about 15 minutes, we took her home to sleep a few hours and she was a happy little girl for the rest of the day.

Some of my favorite things right now:

1. BOOKS - Kaitlyn loves Pat the Bunny, Paddy the Horse, and many others, she will play for hours looking through books.
2. Crawl & Cruise Musical Jungle - she dances everytime a song plays
3. Leap Frog Fridge Farm - she moves her head left and right to the music
4. Laugh & Learn Kitchen
5. Food - Grilled cheese and brocolli seem to be the favorites right now

I am almost walking, I can walk with help, love my walker, and I can stand by myself for about 5-10 seconds before I fall. We are all hoping Kaitlyn walks for her first birthday coming up on March 1st.

I am also drinking milk now, yeah no more formula. Mommy tried the no more bottle technique but Kaitlyn woke up with a fever this morning and we gave in, she wanted nothing to do with the sippy cup. We have one more week to get her off the bottle. The only bottle she currently won't give up is the morning bottle, she is using the sippy cup at all other meals.

9 month wellness check

Thursday we took Kaitlyn in for her wellness check-up. She weighs 21.10 pounds and is 30 inches long. It turned out she had an ear infection, we had no idea. She has been sleeping well and eating well, we never would have guessed her ear was hurting her, good thing she had her wellness check up, we caught it early. We also had her get a flu shot which she took like a champ, she didn't even drop a tear.

Now that I can crawl around I prefer to play with Gingers toys and mommy's magazines.

Grandpa Burdick works for John Deere and he got me a complete outfit that i looked so cute in.

Kaitlyn is so excited to be outside, we are sad that the cold weather is coming and our evening walks are coming quickly to an end.

A Few Big Events This Month

I got my first tooth, it came in on Sunday, October 19th. I am also crawling around everywhere, more of an army crawl, but I will get there soon. The army crawl is fast enough for mom and dad, there is no more leaving me alone to go make dinner, it's possible she won't be in the same room, we must invest in some gates. She loves the kitchen, she likes to bang her hands on the wood floor to hear the sounds.

This is a picture with Blue (Grandma Benberry's dog). Blue will lay there forever and let Kaitlyn bang on her. Kaitlyn gets tired of it before Blue ever does.

At 7 months now I have tried everything and have not found anything I don't like. I like it all peas, green beens, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, and all the fruit. I have been using a sippy cup to drink water during meals. Growing up quick.
Mommy let me feed myself some bananas. Mommy put them on the spoon and I did the rest.

I learned how to do rasberries and liked to do it while eating. It makes for a messy feeding!

I am using a sippy cup for drinking water. I caught on the first time using it.
